One of the key processes that needs to take place when any company is looking to improve their business, through the use of software, is to focus on the workflow process of your organisation.
At Linear Blue, we have many years of experience in analysing the workflow process within a business and how software can be tailored to fit the exact needs of the company.
Our system Analysts will look at your internal processes and design a technical specification based upon those requirements. Whether we are building your software, or you just need an independently designed specification to pass on for a tender process, we are here to help.
The analysis will provide a full technical specification, generally broken down into four key areas:
Technical Brief
This will outline in detail each module of the system, along with specific field requirements and functionality.
High Level Entity Relationship Diagram
A graphical high level overview of all the tables required within your database and the relational links between them.
Screenflow Diagrams
A graphical overview of each screen your system will require, along with basic details of functionality and data for each screen. It will also highlight the interaction between screens for your proposed system.
List of Reports
A basic list of management reports that will be required, highlighting search criteria, whether they are for screen, print or PDF. Also such functionality as whether there should be an email option for the reports, etc.
