HarrisonParrott Artist Management

HarrisonParrott is an international company with worldwide operations, managing not only the diaries of over 75 major classical musicians but also organising numerous orchestral tours and world music projects. This required a complex relational database system complete with an integrated multi-resource diary, advanced management reporting capabilities and external integration with email, fax and other third-party software.

Linear Blue took the initial specification from HarrisonParrott and designed a new system from the ground up, taking into account the requirements for speed, ease-of-use, cross-platform capability and flexibility to adapt in the future to changing needs.

Caledon Partners

Caledon Partners are an Asset Management company focusing on raising and maintaining capital for hedge fund managers. They also manage two in-house funds of hedge funds.

Historically the investments were managed using in excess of one thousand spreadsheets. Over time this approach proved unwieldy and extremely hard to extract reporting information.

Linear Blue used FileMaker to create a streamlined system that allows rapid access to management information. Data is presented in a graphical format allowing management to rapidly assess positions. The streamlined interface allows the users to enter trades rapidly.

Historic reporting allows positions between any two dates to be accurately presented either at NPV or at any historic value. Similarly exchange rates are stored allowing instant historic snapshots.
