Student Tracking
KeyPupil for Hospitals came out of a collaboration between Linear Blue and The Children's Hospital School at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We have been working closely with the School at GOSH to design a product to meet the specialist and demanding needs of a hospital school. KeyPupil: Hospital Edition is the culmination of years of development in meeting those needs.KeyPupil for Hospitals was designed for the specific needs of running a school within the health service. It has been developed to track students whether they be long or short term attendees.
Local Authority Interaction
This system is used primarily to track when a child is seen by a teacher, whether they are taught or not and whether it is in the school or on the ward.This tracking is done for reimbursement from the correct Local authority. Taking this further the system tracks what was taught in the lessons attended (from lesson plans or ad-hock ) and a child's IEP information. This information is then used to create School Reports.
KeyPupil for Hospitals on the Go
Keypupil is now supported on iPad and allows teaching staff to have key detailed information right at the bedside of the child or anywhere on the ward. This allows teachers to spend more time with the children and less time with admin.
The iPad, with its long battery life, light weight and ease of use make it the perfect administrative tool for teachers. From entering student review information and printing reports straight from the iPad, the entire process runs like clockwork.
