The team is headed-up by our Development Director, Paul de Hallé, who has been designing FileMaker databases since 1987. Paul has over twenty years knowledge and experience in analysing and designing solutions from all sectors of industry, from small and medium businesses through to enterprise wide, corporate solutions.

FileMaker Development

Our Development Director, Paul de Hallé, has been a driving force within the UK FileMaker community for many years. In the mid-ninties, before TechNet and the FileMaker Business Alliance, Paul was one of the key instigators and Chairman of the FileMaker Developers Association (FMDA) a non-profit organisation dedicated to sharing knowledge and information within the FileMaker community. Over more recent years, FileMaker UK have taken up the baton and now have regular TechNet meetings at which Linear Blue are regular contributors and presenters.

We also carry this enthusiasm for sharing knowledge through to the web. For example you can visit ‘The Click’ section of the Linear Blue web site were you can see our published naming conventions and standards, now used by FileMaker developers all over the world. From here you can also visit our Twitter and Blog sites. Our Blog is regularly updated with FileMaker tips and tricks, along with general business and web advise.

To help bring this knowledge and expertise to a wider audience we have also been working with the University of Reading in educating students to new development platforms and how they can take that knowledge into a commercial database development environment.
